Bleach Thrown At Joliet Victim After Tool Damages Car: Police
Joliet police say the officers learned that after returning to the residence, she threw bleach upon the victim.

JOLIET, IL — Bail has been set at $30,000 for Ranisha Jones, a 32-year-0ld woman from the 300 block of Joliet's Oneill Street. Jones is accused of pulling a woman's hair inside of her house, using a tool to damage the victim's car and then throwing bleach upon her victim later in the morning.
Joliet police responded to the emergency and hauled away Jones in handcuffs. She's being charged with two counts of domestic battery, two counts of aggravated battery, interfering with reporting of domestic violence, criminal damage to property and resisting a peace officer.

- At 1:06 a.m. Sunday, officers responded to a residence in the 300 block of Oneill Street for a disturbance. During an argument, police said Jones grabbed the victim by her hair and began striking her with a small tool.
- Jones then broke a glass door in the residence, according to police, and when the victim attempted to call 911, Jones grabbed the phone and threw it to the ground, breaking the phone.
- When Jones left the house, police said she broke a taillight on the victim’s vehicle. At this time, officers could not locate Jones.
- A short time later, officers learned that Jones returned to the area. While at the house this second time, Jones threw bleach upon the victim. Officers found Jones in the residence and placed her into custody following a brief struggle.
