Man Chases Down Rival, Breaks His Windshield: JPD
Randall Harrison, age 33, fled eastbound on Theodore Street from the intersection then suddenly did a U-turn, Joliet police announced.

JOLIET, IL — A 33-year-old Joliet man from the 1400 block of Prairie Creek Trail remains in the Will County Jail with a $75,000 bail because Randall Harrison damaged the car of another man and then sped away from Joliet police officers in pursuit, arrest reports show.
Harrison has spent the past two days in the jail where he's charged with aggravated assault, criminal damage to property, aggravated fleeing and eluding, two counts of disorderly conduct and one battery.
The incident leading to Harrison's arrest happened on Saturday morning.

According to Joliet police spokesman Dwayne English:
- At 9:17 a.m., officers responded to a disturbance in the 4900 block of Courtland Circle.
- A man pulled up to the house to pick up his child from the child’s mother, at which time Harrison, the boyfriend of the child’s mother, exited the house and attempted to fight the victim by trying to pull him from the vehicle.
- Harrison threatened the victim with a brick and jumped on the victim’s vehicle.
- The victim got into his car and drove off as Harrison then chased the victim in a Buick Arcadia to the area of Theodore Street and Route 59.

- At the intersection, Harrison exited his vehicle and struck and broke the windshield of the victim’s vehicle. Harrison then fled eastbound on Theodore Street and did a U-turn and fled westbound on Theodore Street.
- Joliet officers tried to pull Harrison over, but he refused to stop and a pursuit ensued. Harrison returned to the Courtland Circle address where he was arrested without further incident.
- Harrison was also cited for disobeying a traffic control device, driving while license revoked and speeding. Harrison's car was towed from the scene.
- No injuries were reported, Joliet police announced.
