Woman Choked, Man Arrested: Joliet Police
Joliet police responded to an apartment in the 400 block of North Bluff Street for a domestic disturbance.

JOLIET, IL — A 49-year-old Joliet resident who comes from the apartment units in the 400 block of North Bluff Street was arrested Wednesday night after Joliet police say Gerald Davis choked a woman.
Davis is now staying at the Will County Adult Detention Facility where his bail was set at $50,000 and he's charged with aggravated domestic battery and domestic battery.

At 9:08 p.m., officers responded to the Davis apartment in the 400 block of North Bluff Street for a domestic disturbance.
Officers determined that during an argument in a bedroom, it is believed that Davis grabbed the woman's neck and choked her. Davis was still on the scene when Joliet police were summoned, and he was placed into custody without incident.
