Pet Parade to Take Place as Scheduled Despite Dog Flu, Minus the Dogs
Parade participants and observers are asked leave their dogs at home this year for the safety of their pets.

The Village of La Grange has announced that the 69th Annual Pet Parade will be held on May 30 as scheduled.
However, parade participants and observers are asked to leave their dogs at home this year because of the cainine influenza outbreak.
Dog lovers can represent their pets with a stuffed animal or a picture, and pet owners who already have costumes for their pets can have their pets photographed in the costumes or they can put the costumes on a stuffed animal for judging.
