• Men's golf readies for season opener in Kentucky (herald-review.com) — La Grange resident and Lyons Township graduate Finley Tyrell is starting his college golf career this weekend with Illinois Wesleyan at a major season-opening tournament in Kentucky. The nationally ranked Titans will face 16 other Division III teams, and fans back home can follow Tyrell's scores live online as he represents the area on a prominent regional stage.
