La Grange – La Grange Memorial Hospital Foundation celebrated a successful golf outing, raising more than $200,000 for Adventist La Grange Memorial Hospital. Event proceeds will be doubled through a generous matching grant from Community Memorial Foundation and will benefit the hospital’s Patient Care Center. This state-of-the-art inpatient facility promotes optimal clinical outcomes through evidence-based design and advanced medical technology.
The 12th annual golf classic, which included 18 holes of golf, breakfast, lunch, dinner and a live auction, took place Aug. 15 at the La Grange Country Club, 620 S. Brainard Ave.

“We are so grateful to the community for their support of this event,” said Brett Skeen, executive director of the La Grange Memorial Hospital Foundation. “In addition to raising financial resources to support our hospital, we were able to increase awareness of the services offered at Adventist La Grange Memorial Hospital.”
About 170 registered golfers participated. Dr. Daniel Hunter-Smith, Tom Bober, and Steve Pleimling served as co-chairs of the event.
