Another Theft At La Grange Fitness Center: Cops
The suspect attempted a $6,000 purchase, but it was declined, police said.

LA GRANGE, IL – La Grange police have received another report of the theft of credit cards from the local park district's fitness center at 536 East Ave.
Between 3:15 p.m. and 4:45 p.m. Nov. 25, someone stole two credit cards, police said. The suspect attempted to make a $6,000 purchase with the card, but it was declined, police said. There was no financial loss.
The theft was reported three days later.

- Outdoor solar lights were intentionally cut in the 200 block of Ninth Avenue. It was reported Nov. 28. The damage was estimated at $75.
- A resident in the 1000 block of South Kensington Avenue told police Nov. 28 about receiving a Verizon bill for an account that the resident did not open. The suspect opened the account using the resident's Social Security number.
- Brian Jackson, 37, of Lakemoor, was cited about 1 p.m. Nov. 22 at La Grange Road and Shawmut Avenue on a charge of improper operation of a commercial vehicle. In responding to a crash, police said they determined Jackson did not have a valid commercial driver's license.
