Best of Countryside Carnival - Better Than Ever in 2015!
The Best of Countryside Carnival, sponsored by the Countryside Business Association (CBA) and the City of Countryside, will take place on July 16-19, 2015 at City Park in Countryside. Russ Nicoletti, CBA President, promises this year’s event to be the best yet. He states, “We have ramped up our efforts to draw crowds of all ages. We have booked fantastic entertainment, including: American English, Lisa Rene Band, ARRA, 7th Heaven, Hello Nuvo, Timeless and Hillbilly Rockstarz. There will be a lot of rides, from old favorites to new thrillers. It’s going to be an event you won’t want to miss.” A variety of delicious food vendors, including Capri and Ledo’s Pizza, will be on hand to satisfy hungry carnival-goers. Craft beer from Blue Nose Brewery and a variety of domestic favorites will be available on tap in the beer tent. This year’s carnival will feature some new additions, such as: a local craft beer “Happy Hour”; samplings from Blue Nose Brewery, a Battle of the Bands (local band competition), and a raffle for a new scooter from Westfield Ford. A schedule of events is available at cbacountryside.com.
Mega Passes for unlimited rides all weekend from open to close can be purchased for a discounted price at participating businesses: Flagg Creek Golf Course, Ledo’s Pizza, Little Joe’s, Marry Me Jewelry, and online at cbacountryside.com. Mega Passes are also being sold at the Concerts in the Park in Countryside Park each Thursday evening. Day passes (4 hours of unlimited rides) will be available for purchase at the carnival.
