Big Pothole In La Grange Area Flattens Tires
The state says it will work with drivers of damaged cars.

HODGKINS, IL – A highway crew was alerted Tuesday night about a big pothole on Interstate 55 near La Grange.
The state Department of Transportation confirmed Wednesday the crew repaired the pothole. It was in the far right lane on southbound I-55 between La Grange Road and Illinois Route 171.
Patch received a report that the pothole flattened 15 tires.

In an email, department spokeswoman Maria Castaneda said her agency would work with drivers who believe their cars were damaged as a result of the pothole.
The procedure to file a claim with the department is on its website. Drivers can also call 847-705-4048 or contact the department's Central Bureau of Claims at 217-782-6263.
