Body Found In River In Riverside Identified
Police say only one body found, not two, as TV station reported.

RIVERSIDE, IL — The woman whose body was found in the Des Plaines River in Riverside last week has been identified.
The victim was Jacqueline Morales, 23, of Chicago, state police said.
On Jan. 24, police got a call shortly after 8 a.m. about a red 2017 Hyundai sedan in the river. It was across from the 400 block of Fairbank Road in Riverside.

State police and fire personnel found the woman's body in the water about 1 p.m., according to a police news release.
State police said Monday they have not determined the cause of the accident.

On the day the body was found, Chicago's NBC 5 reported a man's body was also found, a story that remains online. However, state police told Patch only one body was discovered.
