Children's Museum in Oak Lawn introduces therapeutic memberships
Those who provide therapies for children with disabilities are eligible for a therapeutic membership.
A new membership category is now available at the Children’s Museum in Oak Lawn. Therapeutic memberships are designed for businesses and organizations providing therapy for children with disabilities. The idea is to provide opportunities for disabled children and their therapists to use the museum’s play environment for physical therapy, occupational therapy, early intervention and/or special instruction.
“We are excited about this new membership option,” said Adam Woodworth, the museum’s Executive Director. “This membership will provide direct services professionals the opportunity to serve their families in a space specifically designed for interactive play.”
The membership is available for businesses and organizations with therapists providing treatment and services to young children. Families are not eligible to purchase therapeutic memberships.
