Christmas Messiah Presented at Methodist Church of La Grange

Saturday, December 16 at 5:30 the Methodist Chancel Choir along with the Salt Creek Chamber Orchestra and Northwest Symphony perform Messiah

On Saturday, December 16 at 5:30 pm, the Methodist Chancel Choir along with members of the Salt Creek Chamber Orchestra and the Northwest Symphony will present the Christmas music portion of Handel’s Messiah. Dr. Timothy Semanik will conduct the performance and it will feature soprano, Rachael Long, and alto, Jennifer Barrett, along with Steven Michael Patrick, tenor, and Zachary Angus, bass. Since 1741, Handel’s Messiah has awed listeners with its uplifting holiday message. This performance is sure to bring audiences to their feet.

A freewill offering will be collected to benefit the Caring Place Foundation of La Grange. The Foundation provides children with a safe and enriching space to spend their after-school hours.
