Chicago alderman are considering a ban on concealed weapons in city restaurants that serve alcohol, according to theChicago Sun-Times.
The proposal is a reaction to the new state-wide concealed carry law, that includes a ban on concealed weapons in bars and restaurants that get more than 50 percent of their sales from liquor. The proposal in Chicago would extend that ban to all establishments that serve liquor, according to CBS Chicago.

- Gary said, "Sure, so when a person who could care less about a ban shows up and starts shooting innocent law abiding people, they can call 911 which give the shooter enough time to empty his clip, and possibly reload, while getting maximum kill-shots off. When will people realize it's the bad guys who are the problem?! A common response after a criminal shoots somebody is, 'If only someone else had a gun'."
