Country Financial recognized for community involvement

Business leaders team up to support local First Responders.

Representatives from Country Financial were recently recognized by the La Grange Business Association for their support of a First Responders Tournament, a clever outdoor sporting event involving a human-sized version of table top foosball which benefited local first responders. The First Responders Tournament was one part of a Human Foosball Tournament held in August during La Grange Endless Summerfest and organized by the Associate Board of the La Grange Memorial Hospital Foundation.

Tony Munno, an insurance and financial services representative of Country Financial at 6438 Joliet Road in Countryside, was on hand at the September LGBA member meeting at the Robert E. Coulter American Legion Post to accept the certificate of appreciation from local business leaders and fire and police representatives. Mike Flynn, agency manager, was also recognized.

Proceeds from the First Responders Tournament benefited The 100 Club, an organization which provides financial and emotional support to the families of fallen first responders.
