Cub Scout Pack 3177 Teach Past U.S. Presidents Some History
Local Cub Scouts tour WGN TV Studios and appear On Morning News Show
Rather than sleeping in on a day off from school, Cub Scouts from Pack 3177 rubbed elbows with George Washington, Abraham Lincoln, William Henry Harrison and James Buchanan at the WGN TV studios on Presidents Day. The boys and their families enjoyed a tour of the studios and production facilities. A highlight of the tour was seeing some of the props from the Bozo's Circus show. After learning a little bit about what happens in a television studio the boys made their television debut. They, along with some Scouts from a Wheaton Scout Troop, faced off against the past presidents in a game of Presidential Trivia. The boys handily defeated their opponents!
A huge thank you to Andy Sarkady for coordinating this wonderful experience and ably serving as the tour guide.
