District 105 Approves New Superintendent
Assistant Superintendent Steve Bahn has been approved as the new superintendent of the district.
LA GRANGE, IL — The School Board of District 105 has approved Steve Bahn’s three-year contract as Superintendent Designee for 2017-18 and Superintendent for 2018-2020 at the board meeting on Feb. 26. The district said Bahn served 10 years as the principal of Ideal School prior to being hired as Assistant Superintendent on July 1, 2016.
He has worked closely with Dr. Glenn Schlichting, who will be retiring at the end of this school year, in all areas of district leadership.
School Board President David Herndon said in a relelase, “Our members are excited about Mr. Bahn’s excellent leadership skills and his commitment to District 105’s success. We are all looking forward to working closely with him to continue to serve the needs of our entire community.”
