District 105 Superintendent Receives Award
The superintendent of La Grange School District 105 has been named the West Cook Division Superintendent of Distinction 2017.
LA GRANGE, IL — The superintendent of La Grange School District 105 has been named the West Cook Division Superintendent of Distinction 2017. Dr. Glenn Schlichting will be honored at a luncheon by the Illinois Association of School Administrators in April, the district said.
According to the district, Schlichting was nominated for this prestigious award by his peers based on his exemplary leadership in learning, communication, professionalism and community involvement. As a result of this nomination, Schlichting will also be considered for the State Superintendent of the Year in the fall
2018.
Schlichting will be retiring in June 2018, the district said.
