Downtown Downers Grove Ice Festival is Free Family Fun

Downtown Downers Grove annual Ice Sculpture Festival takes place this weekend, February 12 - 14. It’s a great way to celebrate Valentine’s Day with the family.

Lining downtown Downers Grove will be more than 40 creative ice sculptures. Ice carving demonstrations will take place Friday at 5:30 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday at both 11:00 a.m. -3:00 p.m. Kids of all ages will marvel as the artists use chain saws, hot flames and other tools to create sparkling works of art.

On Saturday at 1:00 p.m., the Ronald McDonald Magic Show at the Main Street Train Station will entertain young and old at 1:00 p.m. In addition, local merchants will have special in-store activities and promotions.
