Driver Sued In Crash Near Lyons Township High
A student contended the driver failed to yield the right of way and drove at a speed that endangered people.

LA GRANGE, IL – A former Lyons Township High School student on Thursday sued the driver whom he said hit him in May on a street next to North Campus.
According to the lawsuit, the student was walking in a crosswalk at Burlington and Brainard avenues after school when he was hit by a driver of a 2006 Jeep Wrangler. Both were seniors at the time, according to the office of the pedestrian's attorney, G. Grant Dixon III.
The lawsuit contends the driver failed to yield the right of way to the pedestrian and drove at a speed that endangered people.
