Early Morning Argument At La Grange 7-Eleven

LA GRANGE, IL — A group of people was confronted shortly before 5 a.m. Aug. 21 at 7-Eleven, 9600 W. Ogden Ave., after a woman was suspected of stealing a beverage from a cooler, according to a La Grange police report. They argued with the employee and were asked to leave.

Later stopped at a car wash in Brookfield, they were not in possession of any items from the store. But one of the women left in an unknown car before an officer's arrival, the report said. The 7-Eleven store wanted no-trespass orders issued against the suspects and did not seek compensation for the stolen items, police said. The suspects left without any problems, the report said.
