Chicago Whisky Week at prasino La Grange

Celebrate Chicago Whisky Week at prasino La Grange. On March 20th, join prasino Chef de Cuisine Jack Funderburg and Highland Park Scotch Whisky Ambassador Stephanie Ridgway as they guide you through a fabulous pairing of whisky-inspired cuisine and select expressions from the Highland Park Single Malt Scotch portfolio.

The five course meal begins with Highland Park Scotch’s Signature Cocktail, the Ginger Grouse, famous grouse finest, ginger ale, and fresh squeezed lime complemented with an amuse bouche.  Followed by Wild Tasmanian Salmon cured with 15 yr-old & grain mustard, frisee, pomegranate, and banyuls vinaigrette paired with a 15 year old Higland Park Single Malt Scotch.

Enjoy Honey Glazed Quail with heirloom carrots and apricot gastrique complemented with a 12 year old scotch. Next, savor the Lamb Rib Chops with mint persillade and celery root puree matched with an 18 yr-old demi.

Finish off the meal with Dark chocolate & caramel panna cotta complete with 25 yr-old spiked crème anglaise.

Dinner is $65/person (including tax and gratuity)and begins at 7pm on Tuesday, March 20th, with a reception beginning at 6:30pm.
