Join us for the second annual Reindeer Run 5K Race and Kids Dash on Saturday, Dec. 3, at the Brookfield Zoo. The race will begin at 8:30 a.m. inside the zoo near the North Gate and the Kids Dash will start at 9:30.The fee is $10 for the Kids Dash and $30 for the 5K. Registration is available by clicking the Reindeer Run link at www.greaterlagrangeymca.org. Participants can register the day of the race beginning at 7 a.m. for a $40 fee.The cost of the race also includes a race T-shirt, assorted items from sponsors, post-race treats and admission and parking to the Brookfield Zoo.Runners with strollers may participate but must line up behind the runners prior to the start of the race.Sign up the whole family--it's a great way to get exercise and enjoy a beautiful day at the Brookfield Zoo.All proceeds benefit the numerous organizations the Greater LaGrange YMCA supports including Special Olympics swim and bowling teams.
