YMCA brings some classes outdoors this summer

The Greater LaGrange YMCA doesn't want you to be cooped up this summer, which is why they are offering several classes for adults and children outdoors.                                                                            Outdoor Boot Camp will meet at the YMCA, 1100 E. 31st St., La Grange Park, at 8:45 Thursday mornings. The group will head outdoors and travel to a different location each week, mixing up the exercise routine and the locations to help you stay in shape and keep it fun!
Members with children can drop them off at the Kids Zone before heading out to Boot Camp. Cell phone numbers will be required to leave your child.
This class is $35 for members and $70 for non-members.
A Kids' Walking Club will get children ages 6 and up outdoors and walking around the neighborhood. Kids are to bring a water bottle and comfortable shoes. Meet at the YMCA at 9 a.m. Thursdays and the walkers will return around 11 o'clock.  A healthy snack will be provided.
The fee is $5 for members and $10 for non-members.
Kids will love this Bike Club that meets from 9 to 11 o'clock every Tuesday at 26th Street Woods West. Riders must bring a water bottle and bike helmet. A healthy snack will be provided. The group will work its way up to a 4-mile ride.
The fee is $5 for members and $10 for non-members.
More information about any of these classes is available by calling the membership desk at 708-352-7600.
