Yoga for the Immune System

A healthy immune system is necessary for a healthy lifestyle, which is why Kelly Herndon will lead a workshop on the importance of Yoga for the Immune System from 11:45 to 1:45 Sunday, Jan. 22, in the Greater LaGrange YMCA, 1100 E. 31st St., La Grange Park.

Kelly will lead a discussion of the immune and lymphatic systems; as well as provide tips on maintaining a healthy immune system through meditation, diet and awareness; specific meditation and awareness techniques; and a restorative asana practice utilizing props and poses selected for supportiing the immune system.
