Four LT Students Earn Perfect ACT Score

Four LT seniors received a 36 on their AT exams.

LA GRANGE, IL — Four LT students have received a perfect score on the ACT. According to the school, seniors Max Bresticker of Western Springs, Zachary Lin of Western Springs, Jack Nash of La Grange Park, and Sebastian Olsen of La Grange Park, all earned the highest composite score possible on the ACT exam.

The school said on average, less than one-tenth of one percent of all test takers earns the top score. Nationwide about 1,100 of more than 1.8 million students earn a composite score of 36.

The ACT is comprised of tests in English, mathematics, reading, and science reasoning. Each test is scored on a scale of 1-36, and a student's score is the average of the four tests. Scores are evidence of their readiness for the academic rigor they will find in college.
