LYONS, IL — Republican candidates running in the Illinois 3rd Congressional District primary will face off Friday, Feb. 21 in a candidates’ forum moderated by the League of Women Voters of the LaGrange Area. The forum will run from 7 to 8 p.m. in the Performing Arts Center at Lyons Township High School, South Campus, 4900 Willow Springs Road, Western Springs.

GOP Candidates Mike Fricilone, Cathy O’Shea and Art Jones have confirmed their appearances. Additionally, questions submitted by citizens in advance of the forum will be asked of the candidates. To submit a question, please email LWV2020District3@gmail.com.

Fricilone is a commissioner on the Will County Board and has garnered the Illinois GOP leadership’s endorsement over Lyons resident Arthur Jones, a part-time insurance agent and self-avowed Nazi.
