IPRA Named Finalist for Platinum PR Awards

Illinois Park & Recreation Association Named Finalist for Platinum PR Awards

The Illinois Park & Recreation Association (IPRA) has been named a finalist in the Anniversary category of the Platinum PR Awards! PRNEWS’ Platinum PR Awards acknowledges the corporations, agencies, nonprofit and government organizations - large and small- that took chances and redefined the benchmark for excellence across all areas of communications.

The Anniversary category includes anniversary programs, events or activities that take place for a day, week or over the course of a year (commemorations, observances, celebrations, etc.). IPRA submitted it’s ’75 Stories’ publication for the award - a collection stories from IPRA members celebrating the moments, memories, challenges, and successes of the people that have made IPRA what it is today in celebration of our 75th anniversary in 2019.

To kick-off the year-long anniversary celebration, and to honor and recognize the members that have helped to shape what IPRA is today, ’75 Stories’ showcases our members’ stories and how IPRA has impacted them throughout their careers in parks and recreation, as well as highlight important milestones in IPRA’s history. This publication also serves as a record of the history of the association. A digital copy is available for download by all members and visitors to our website at ILipra.org.
