John Shields in Sugar Grove has McTeacher's Night at McDonald's

A McTeacher's Night is organized to help raise money for local schools by having teachers work at McDonald's

John Shields Elementary School in Sugar Grove Held Their second McTeacher's Night Fundraiser of the 2017-2018 School year. The night like John Shields was amazing. A McTeacher's Night is organized to help raise money for local schools by having teachers work at McDonald's and then giving a percentage of the night's sales back to the local school.

Several teachers and staff from John Shields volunteered to work a shift during the event including Assistant Principal Jake Countryman. All were excited to serve freshly prepared meals to students and their families. Teachers handed out orders, cleaned tables, made ice cream treats, served drinks, and even dressed up in a Pie costume. First Grade teacher Alexandra Hay dressed in the Pie outfit and had a blast mingling with all the families and taking pictures.

Added to this night of FUNdraising was a special appearance from McDole Elementary Schools 4th and 5th Grade Choir and they were great!
