La Grange To Vote On 'Climate Action Plan'
The plan calls for big cuts to greenhouse gas emissions.

LA GRANGE, IL – La Grange trustees are set to vote Monday on joining the Chicago area's "climate action plan."
Under the plan, area towns and counties aim to cut greenhouse gas emissions by half in six years from 2005 levels, by 65 percent in 2040 and by 80 percent in 2050.
In April, the village's Environmental Quality Commission approved the climate action plan. So far, 42 area towns and counties have endorsed it.
