For one weekend only, the Museum welcomes another railroad with the LEGO® Train Show, February 20-21, 10 a.m.-4 p.m.
The LEGO® Train Show returns to the DuPage County Historical Museum for one weekend only -- February 20 & 21 from 10:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. each day. This special event has drawn large crowds of train and LEGO®fans during its previous visits.
“This will be the third time we have had the event,” said Michelle Podkowa, Museum Manager and Educator in it press release. “The Northern Illinois LEGO® Train Club (NILTC) has agreed to come back every other year to display their exhibit.” The release continues to say, ”The LEGO® Train Show is operated by builders from the NILTC, an adult LEGO® enthusiast group of 20 active members that enjoy building, designing, and displaying LEGO® creations for the public.”
NILTC creates displays six to seven times a year around Chicagoland. Past displays for the LEGO® Train Show have included the Willis Tower and other landmarks of the Chicago skyline, the Kane County Courthouse and electric guitars.
