LT District 204 Calendar 2018-19: First Day Of School, Vacations

LA GRANGE, IL — Lyons Township High School students will soon head back to school for the 2018-19 school year. District 204 has released its school calendar for the year, which is full of important dates to remember for both parents and students.

The calendar includes dates like winter and spring break, holidays, conferences and half days. Here is the list of days you should know for this school year:

• 8/15 - Frosh Experience Day
• 8/20 - First day of school

September

• 9/3 - Labor Day (No School)

October

• 10/3 - School Improvement Day (Dismissal at 11:30 a.m.)
• 10/8 - Columbus Day (No School)
• 10/9 - District Institute Day (No School)
• 10/26 - No School

November

• 11/21 - No School
• 11/22-11/23 - Thanksgiving break (No School)

December

• 12/5 - School Improvement Day (Dismissal at 11:30 a.m.
• 12/24-1/4 - Winter break (No School)

January

• 12/24-1/4 - Winter break (No School)
• 1/7 - District Institute Day (No School)
• 1/8 - Classes resume
• 1/21 - Martin Luther King Jr. Day (No School)

February

• 2/6 - School Improvement Day (Dismissal at 11:15 a.m.)
• 2/18 - Presidents Day (No School)

March

• 3/25-3/29 - Spring Break (No School)

April

• School Improvement Day (Dismissal at 11:15 a.m., senior do NOT attend)
• 4/19 - No School
• 4/22 - District Institute Day (No School)
