LT to host International Festival
Saturday, November 9 at the North Campus student cafeteria, 100 S. Brainard, LaGrange

The Lyons Township High School Fine Arts Division will host an International Festival, a diversity celebration and expo Saturday, November 9, at the North Campus student cafeteria, 100 S. Brainard Ave., LaGrange, from noon-3 pm. The event is free and open to the community.
French, German, Latin and American Sign Language clubs will be in attendance. Similarly, the Spanish Honor Society, East Asian and Greek clubs will celebrate their diversity. Food, demonstrations performances and give-a-ways will be included in the festival. There will also be LT Choir and Irish Dance performances and the Art Department will be giving a demonstration and provide a hands-on activity.
Students and their families are welcome to attend the event, which was organized to increase awareness of different cultures and customs.

"Learning to appreciate other cultures can be accomplished in a variety of ways. We hope the food, dances, music, demonstrations and customs from other nations shed some light on different ethnic cultures and traditions," said LTHS Fine Arts Division Chair Paula Nardi.
