LT Junior To Launch Clothing Line
Lyons Township High School junior Lucas Barnes will launch his very own clothing line, called Treevas, on September 20

Lyons Township High School junior Lucas Barnes, of Indian Head Park, will launch his very own clothing line, called Treevas, on September 20. An eco-friendly clothing line created with climate change in mind, Barnes will give 50% of all profits to organizations fighting climate change first hand.
“I’ve always had a special affection for fashion. I dream of making the world a better place through innovation in the clothing industry. Owning my own clothing line was never something I thought I could accomplish, yet here I am,” Barnes posted on his Instagram page.
Barnes has designed each of the casual wear items and accessories. The brand will go live on Instagram @Treevas.brand and website Treevas.com.

While always interested in fashion, Barnes began experimenting with fashion about a year ago. The idea to formally launch a brand was formulated during quarantine. A soft launch with family and friends allowed him to perform quality control and invest additional monies into a photo shoot and to legally incorporated into an LLC, limited liability company.
More than just a clothing line, Barnes says, “There is a message behind the brand dedicated to climate change. It’s just one way I can help, and I’m proud to do it.”
