LT Model UN Teams Up With VFW

LA GRANGE, IL — Lyons Township High School senior and Model UN Club President Xander Allison, of La Grange Highlands, accepts a check for $382.52 from Western Springs VFW post member Bruce Harken.

The school said every year, Model UN helps the VFW sell poppies, which support veterans and honor the fallen. In return, the VFW splits the earnings with the club. LTMUN will use the money to help offset club expenses.

Model UN members will once again help sell veteran poppies this spring.
