Lyons Township High School music teacher Mark Dahl has been selected to conduct the 2020 All-State Jazz Ensemble in Peoria this week, and fellow LT teacher John Musick has been selected to conduct the 2021 All-State Jazz Choir next year.
Conductors are selected by their peer educators from across Illinois in four divisions: jazz, orchestra, band and choir. It is very rare and an honor to have two teachers selected from the same school in short order, especially since the search for these conductors is nationwide.
