LT Robotics Team qualifies for Nationals

The VEX Virtual World Championship Fantasy Robotics Tournament will be held Saturday, April 25

A Lyons Township High School Robotics Team qualified for the national championship by placing among the top 15 teams in the state of Illinois. The VEX Virtual World Championship Fantasy Robotics Tournament will be held Saturday, April 25. The tournament is simulated and just for fun and no action is needed on any teams’ part except to watch live for updates and watch the event from home to celebrate the season.

The virtual national championships will include:

  • Season Highlights
  • New Product Announcement
  • 2020-2021 VEX IQ Challenge and VEX Robotics Competition Games Unveiled
  • Celebration of Online Challenges and Inspiration All Stars Winners
  • Fantasy Robotics Tournament simulation
  • Awards throughout

Organizers are encouraging teams to use virtual group viewing platforms and have a virtual viewing party.
