LT Steppers take 4th place in first competition in two years

LT earned perfect scores for both the Intro and Outro portions of their routine, near perfect scores for Creativity and Theme

The Lyons Township High School Steppers recently competed for the first time in two years and stepped away with a 4th place finish. In fact, only six of the more than 20 Steppers had ever competed in the past due to the pandemic.

LT earned perfect scores for both the Intro and Outro portions of their routine, near perfect scores for Creativity and Theme, and as usual, earned top scores for crowd involvement. The team intends to focus on precision, transitions, and synchronization.

Coach Tamiaka Killins said, “We can certainly tighten various areas of our routine with practice. Plus, while many of our Steppers were nervous, with one competition under their belts, their confidence will surely increase.”
