LT Students Get A Look At Robotic Surgery Technology
Orthopedic surgeons from AMITA Health in La Grange will perform a hands-on demonstration of the new Mako system for students.

LA GRANGE, IL — Lyons Township High School science students will have the opportunity to see an up-close experience with new robotic surgery technology. According to a release, orthopedic surgeons from AMITA Health in La Grange will perform a hands-on demonstration of the new Mako system for a select group of science students.
According to AMITA Health, the installation of the Mako System at the La Grange hospital is the first and only robotic technology that can be used to perform total knee, total hip and partial knee replacements.
