LT Theatre to present musical Spamalot

Performance dates are Thursday, Feb. 20 through Saturday, Feb. 22, at 7pm and Sunday, Feb. 23, at 3pm in the North Campus Reber Center.

The Lyons Township High School Theatre Board proudly presents “Spamalot,” with book and lyrics by Eric Idle and music by John DuPrez and Eric Idle. LT faculty member Lawrence Keller is the director.

Spamalot tells the legendary tale of King Arthur’s quest to find the Holy Grail. Inspired by the classic comedy film, Monty Python and the Holy Grail, the musical also diverts a bit from more traditional versions of the legend. Instead, Spamalot features shenanigans including a line of beautiful dancing girls, flatulent Frenchmen, and killer rabbits.

Performance dates are Thursday, February 20 through Saturday, February 22, at 7pm and Sunday, February 23, at 3pm in the North Campus Reber Center, 100 S. Brainard Ave., LaGrange. Tickets are $10, $5 for senior citizens and students with an LTHS student ID. Tickets may be purchased online or at the box office before the show. The theater opens 30 minutes before curtain and the show starts promptly.
