LT Welcomes 10 New Teachers

LA GRANGE, IL — Lyons Township High School has welcomed 10 new teachers for the upcoming school year. According to the district's website, the teachers were recently schooled on district technology and suicide awareness, trained on Canvas and heard presentations on assessment, the evaluation model and professional development opportunities.

According to the website, the new teachers this year are:

• Brianna Basic - Family and Consumer Science, BA Illinois State University
• Darragh McDermott - English, BA University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign
• Emma Colangelo - Special Education, BA University of Wisconsin-Whitewater
• Lauren Oakes - Social Studies, BA Loyola University
• Katherine Wohlgemuth - Special Education, MA+30 Governors State University
• Gabrielle Silva - Special Education, BA University of Wisconsin-Madison
• Shannon Murray - World Languages, MA Grand Canyon University
• Shannon Donahue - Social Studies, BA University of Iowa
• Nora Mulcahey - Mathematics, BA University of Nebraska-Lincoln
• Shanna Lewis - Assistant Principal, MA Fordham University
