LT yearbook earns national recognition

The 111th edition of the Tabulae yearbook, titled It Only Takes 1 wins several awards

Judging a 452-page yearbook is no easy task, but it was well worth the wait for the staff of the 2018-2019 Lyons Township High School Tabulae yearbook. The 111th edition was titled It Only Takes 1.

Congratulations to Editors-in-Chief, Kate Madigan ’19 and Maggie King ’19, and the entire staff of Tabulae on the following honors.

  • National Scholastic Press Association: First Class
  • Columbia Scholastic Press Association: Gold Medal
  • American Scholastic Press Association: First Place

Tabulae (TAB) is LT’s nationally award winning yearbook, now in its 112th annual edition. The singular purpose is to provide an appropriate environment for the creation of a vibrant, living, student-centered and student-created history of LT, year by year, moment by moment, and student by student. Yearbook staffers (Tabbies) serve a primary role as either copywriters, photographers, or graphic designers, and under the leadership of the editorial board, headed by two senior editors-in-chief, helm the yearbook completely, including providing some input into budgetary matters and taking complete responsibility for yearbook coverage, theme, style, and content each year.
