LTHS annual blood drive helps those in need

Many thanks to the Lyons Township High School staff and students, who recently donated blood at the Fall LTHS Blood Drive.

Many thanks to the 46 Lyons Township High School staff and students, who recently donated blood at the Fall LTHS Blood Drive.

Every pint of blood donated is separated into three components: platelets, plasma and red cells, potentially providing medicine for up to 126 patients. The units collected will be donated to local suburban hospitals.

Experienced, professional, licensed nurses draw blood. New disposable, sterilized equipment is used for each donation.
