LTHS Hall of Fame seeking nominations

Nominations accepted through March 1, 2020

The Lyons Township High School Hall of Fame is seeking nominations of graduates and friends of the district who have accomplished great things. If you know someone worthy of induction, contact the 2020 LTHS Hall of Fame committee at 708-579-6483 for a nomination form. Forms are also available in the main offices at both North and South campus and may be downloaded off the school website. Go to www.lths.net/HallofFame. Self-nominations are welcome. The nomination deadline is March 1.

The school will recognize inductees at Homecoming in the fall. The Hall of Fame recognizes alumni and friends of LT who have brought great credit and distinction to the school through their accomplishments or service in the arts, athletics, business, education, public service or other professions. Inductees also provide students with role models who know and share the same traditions of our community and school system. All 65,000 alumni are eligible for induction into the Hall of Fame.

Hall of Fame inductees are invited to return to LT to spend a day with students interested in their field of expertise. "Dozens of classes and hundreds of students have an opportunity to speak to inductees one-on-one, an experience the students and inductees will not soon forget, and a practice LT hopes to continue," said Superintendent Dr. Timothy Kilrea.
