LA GRANGE, IL – The Lyons Township High School board plans to hold a rare special closed meeting Wednesday.

The meeting is for reviewing a student disciplinary case and discussing "probable or imminent" litigation. No action is expected.

The board often holds closed sessions as part of its regular meetings. But the board rarely calls a special closed session for discipline or litigation.

The board's agenda did not give any details. Perhaps the highest-profile behavioral problem in recent times was a student attacking another in early May at the school's South Campus.

Wednesday's meeting is set for 6 p.m. in Room D103 at South Campus. Residents can make comments to the board before the doors are closed.
