LTHS to host College Week
College week kicks off on Monday, April 8, to raise awareness about the many college opportunities that await LT students

Lyons Township High School kicks off College Week on Monday, April 8, to raise awareness about the many college opportunities that await LT students. It also promotes conversation and interest in the college process for juniors and some great memories and stories from faculty and staff as they reminisce about their experiences.
All week students and staff are asked to wear their favorite college gear to show their support for their favorite university or college team.
Monday, April 8, is Sticker Day and gives staff an opportunity to proudly sport the name of a favorite alma mater. The College/Career Center will supply every employee with a sticker to tout the name of the college(s) where they received their undergraduate, graduate or doctoral degree(s). Students are encouraged to ask staff about their experiences. Seniors will also have a chance to wear stickers so show pride in the decisions they made for their future and to talk to juniors about the process.

Each college/university will be assigned a table in the fieldhouse. Counselors will be available throughout the evening to help direct students to colleges that offer specific majors.
