LTHS Virus Cases Skyrocket In Last Week
The previous week, the school's numbers were unusually low compared to others.

LA GRANGE, IL — Lyons Township High School saw more than four times the number of coronavirus cases among students last week than it did a week earlier, according to its latest numbers.
As of Friday, the school reported 60 cases among students, far more than the 13 a week before. That works out to about 1.5 percent of students. Eight employees also tested positive for the coronavirus, up from one a week earlier.
The latest numbers reflect trends at other schools. A week earlier, the school statistics defied patterns seen elsewhere. According to the previous numbers, the school saw a big drop in coronavirus cases from before the winter break, while other schools experienced sizable increases.
