LyonCon coming to LTHS

Open to the public. Scheduled for Saturday, February 22, and Sunday, February 23, 10am-8pm at the Corral. General admission is $10

Lyons Township High School is hosting its annual LyonCon, a comicon/gaming style event, featuring tournament gaming, open tabletop gaming, video games, cosplay (costume play) contests, photo ops, vendors and more. The event is a partnership between multiple LT clubs.

Scheduled for Saturday, February 22, and Sunday, February 23, 10am-8pm at the Corral, 49040 S. Willow Springs Rd., Western Springs, the event is open to the public. General admission is $10. Corral members and children under 5-years-old get in free. Dress in costume and admission is $5. Admission for students 8th grade and under is also $5. The event is family and kid friendly all day Sunday and Saturday until 5pm; after 5pm there will be some PG-13 content.

Participants can enjoy panel discussions, cosplay contest and awards, an art and vendor hall, plus a D&D Adventurers League. Open gaming tables for learn to play with a variety of board games, card games and role playing games.
