The school now fills director positions for equity and student services.
LA GRANGE, IL — This summer, the Lyons Township High School board added two new administrator positions. Now, the school is hiring administrative assistants for them.
In July, the district created the positions of director of student services and director of equity and belonging. In recent days, the board approved hiring full-time administrative assistants for both directors.

"The next step is to request the creation of two administrative assistant positions to help support them and bring them in line with other central leadership team positions that have full-time administrative support," Ed Piotrowski, the school's human resources director, told the board last week.
According to the Illinois Report Card website, Lyons Township High has one administrator for every 202 students last year. The statewide average was one for every 171 students.
