According to the report, Kimball drew the felony indecency charge because he was close to the playground at Cossitt Avenue Elementary School, 115 W. Cossitt Ave. Children were said to have been on the playground at the time.

Police said Kimball had been accused of a similar offense in 2019 in Downers Grove.

According to the La Grange report, Kimball said he wasn't a bad guy and that he just needed help.

Two days later, Kimball was arrested for a violation of his bail bond, police said. By getting his Ford Fusion from the parking garage, Kimball was within 1,000 feet of Cossitt Avenue Elementary, even though his bail restrictions barred him from getting that close.
