Massage Envy Grows Into New La Grange Space
Owner Justin Hudetz said he's excited to be in a new spot in La Grange after outgrowing the Western Springs location. Massage Envy has also added facials.
It's safe to say that Massage Envy has caught on around La Grange and Western Springs.
During its four and a half years in Western Springs' Garden Market, the spa changed its hours to remain open from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. every day. Now with a move to the old Borders Books building in La Grange, Massage Envy has even more space to serve its clients.
"It's something we needed," franchise owner Justin Hudetz said. "There's a lot of healthy minded people here."

Massage Envy moved to La Grange on April 13, and in this space will have 14 rooms and 3,400 square feet, upgrades over the 11 rooms and 2,600 square feet in Western Springs, Hudetz said.

Another new feature at the La Grange location is the offering of four different kinds of facials. They've also added more therapists, up to 45 total now, meaning they can offer more specialty massages.
"We can offer many different kinds, our goal is a customized massage," Hudetz said. "Some people might just need to come in and relax and de-stress."
Hudetz worked in real estate until he found Massage Envy in 2006 while looking at an entrepreneur magazine. He said he liked the idea of running a franchise and was intrigued by the membership model, which offers massages, facials and member discounts for $59/month.
"With the membership, we're able to offer more affordable prices," he said. "And it drive people to use massage therapy as it was intended: regularly."
Most of all, Hudetz's advice is to not be afraid of trying massage therapy. He recalled an 82-year-old man who was dragged in by his daughter, and an hour later he came out and said, "I feel better from the top of my head to the tip of my toes."
Massage Therapy joins Smashburger, Great Clips and ATI Physical Therapy as tenants in the old Borders building. AT&T and Orange Leaf Yogurt also plan to open in the building this year, and there's another vacant spot.
